Who We Are

PURPOSE
The
International Institute for Social Artistry (IISA) is an international
teaching/learning community created for the purpose of:
-
Training
and supporting Social Artists around the world;
-
Activating
human capacities and creative talents;
-
Providing
training in leadership skills and human potential development; and
-
Offering
research, consultation, leadership and guidance with the aim to advance
human development.
The
Institute is a nonprofit organization, offering ongoing
multidimensional education for Social Artists of all ages, trainer
certification, as well as a professional association for communication
and networking. The Institute headquarters is in Ashland, Oregon.
VISION
The
vision for the Institute is inspired by the times we live in and the
certainty that this stage in history is pivotal to the future of all
people and the planet. The Institute embraces the need to consciously
apply ourselves to our own development, the new greening of the planet,
and the re-genesis of society. The Institute views this is a
mandate of our times.
MISSION
To
promote social change by developing an international cadre of leaders
trained to apply a wide range of human capacities and skills to finding
innovative solutions to critical local and global issues
